Learning Tip
When learning, it is important to take time to look back and summarize. For successful learning, it is more effective to recall the most important knowledge from memory than to simply review the most important passages of the material. It is also important to identify elements of knowledge that are not yet well understood and to study the relevant passages again or to get other material for a better understanding. This will prevent gaps in your knowledge and prevent you from retaining incorrect knowledge.A good method for summarizing and identifying unclear points is the Three-Minute Paper. You take three minutes and write down everything you can think of, focusing on a reflection question. It doesn't take long, but it supports successful learning. (Originally, this method was called the One-Minute Paper - but one minute is sometimes a bit short, so we use the Three-Minute Paper).
This courses includes a Three-Minute-Paper at the end of each Learning Units.
Now, take (at least) three minutes to write your first Three Minute Paper for the Learning Unit that you have just finished.
